Overcoming Fear

When I was young, I have caught a glimpse of my fear
It's strange, it looks like a maroon sphere
And as it rolled towards me with high speed
It becomes bigger and scarier indeed!
Almost like a flood or an explosion of a ruptured dam
Or the panic when you forget everything in an exam
As I got older, I wanted to learn from the life of Christ
And live life with a feisty kind of spice
So I took a needle from mother's sewing box
Pierce it through until it crumbles like small rocks
So there is no more maroon sphere
Only a blue sky so clear

Beyond Me, The World Possibly Be

The world is too large a grid
For my own use, for my own greed
It is indeed far a better place
With each additional face
Through there will often be more
Sadness, chaos, pain and gore
There will also be
Hope, peace, joy, and glee
When everyone joins in hands
In love and compassion as friends
So don't give up on humanity
For all, in God's image, can be
Living beyond the nature of sin
More beautiful than one can imagine
